My stay at Playa Grande Lodge was absolutely delightful. The property is charmingly nestled amidst the natural beauty of Costa Rica. I was thrilled to spot an iguana up in the trees during my stay! The location is perfect, with the beach just a short walk away. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with a well-appointed kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious options to choose from. I also want to express my gratitude to the friendly staff for taking the time to share insights about life in Costa Rica. I highly recommend Playa Grande Lodge for an authentic and enjoyable experience.

The bungalow we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. the location was conveniently close to the beautiful beach. the staff was friendly and provided helpful recommendations for restaurants and nearby beach spots.
The shower water was initially cold and took some time to warm up. the lack of air conditioning in the room made it a bit uncomfortable at times, especially during warmer periods.

I had the most amazing stay at a lodge nestled in the jungle, just steps away from a beautiful beach. The treehouse room was a unique and romantic experience, with the sound of the waves and howler monkeys as my wake-up call. The breakfast served by Alberto was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality of the hosts made me feel like part of their family. The private beach right below the lodge was a bonus, and there were also other beaches just a short walk away. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Breakfast is amazing - best French toast I've ever had. Alberto, the host, is helpful and friendly. Treehouse is awesome but lacks privacy in the bathroom. Beautiful grounds with lots of birds and animals. Free and safe parking.

The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety or options.

The gardens at the lodge were well kept and teeming with wildlife, creating a peaceful and serene environment. the beach nearby, Playa Negra, was stunning and perfect for swimming. Cahuita National Park offered a fantastic opportunity to encounter a wide variety of wildlife. On Friday nights, there was a not-to-be-missed gig with a free BBQ dinner.
Felt lucky, no complaint.

I really enjoyed my stay at this lodge. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing lots of useful information about nearby attractions and offering their contact information for any questions I had. The breakfast they served was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. Additionally, the location of the lodge was perfect, just a short walk away from a stunning black beach, which was great for surfing.
One minor inconvenience was the showers, which could be a little cold at times. However, after the first day, I quickly got used to it and it wasn't a major issue.

I recently stayed at a charming lodge near Cahuita and had a wonderful time. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips and ensuring our stay was comfortable. The location, just a short distance from Playa Grande, was perfect for enjoying the beach and exploring the area. The treehouse room we stayed in was truly unique, with rustic charm and amazing views. Waking up to the sounds of nature was a priceless experience. The breakfast provided was delicious and delivered to our bungalow each morning. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this lodge to others.
The only minor drawbacks were that the shower water took a little while to warm up and the bed was a bit small for my height. However, these were minor inconveniences that didn't greatly impact our stay.

Short drive to supermarket, delicious breakfast with fresh fruit, well-equipped cabin with clear explanations on local attractions, woke up to howler monkeys and birdsongs, enjoyed the deserted beach with hundreds of migrating birds.
